At Pelham High school, science teacher Dr. Holden’s Integrated Science II class is working to save the plummeting bee population in this country. Many Bee keepers and scientists believe that this decreasing population is partly caused by Imidacloprid, a chemical that is used in grub killing products that are manufactured by Bayer Crop Science Company and is sold under several names such as: Merit, Admire, Advantage, Gaucho, Kohinor, Confidor, Hachikusan, Premise, Prothor, and Winner. http://www.pelhamweb.org/highschool/
